The refreshing cycle path along the River Noce
A 35-km route that follows the wild River Noce, from Cogolo di Pejo to the legendary Mostizzolo, the Val di Sole cycle path is perfect for all ages and levels. The route is mostly level, ideal for those looking to enjoy a relaxing day in the open air.
The cycle path crosses a number of different landscapes; countryside, small villages, forests, wide-open panoramas and stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The constant presence of water and the rapids, famous for rafting, make the ride pleasant even in the warmest period of the year.
Over the years, the Val di Sole has invested heavily in rendering its tourism ever more ecological; and cyclists have the bike + train or bike + bus services to reach the cycling routes with their bikes in a sustainable manner.
E-bikes, distance in comfort
For some time now, pedal-assist mikes have brought many more people to the world of cycling; e-bikes offer the chance to pedal without over-stressing muscles, making climbs easier and enabling trips to places usually reserved for experts.

Mountain Bike routes in Val di Sole
There are more than 20 Mountain Bike routes in Val di Sole, covering a total of 300 km through the wilderness that can be travelled completely by bike.
Here are a few examples!
- Easy: Family Tour Val Meledrio. From the arrival point of the Daolasa cable car or Folgarida Malghet Aut, a pleasant descent through an idyllic landscape of woods, streams and meadows, arriving in Commezzadura.
- Medium: Tour dei Forti. Starting in Ossana, this high-altitude route will allow you to reach the Tonale Pass, following a panoramic trail that dates back to the First World War.
- Hard: Salita delle Miniere. This route begins and ends in Cogolo di Pejo, and includes a long climb on a dirt track through iron mines, breath-taking panoramas and spectacular centuries-old larch trees.
Not just Mountain Biking, Val di Sole is also famous for its important road-cycling routes; as well as the climb to the Tonale Pass, if you are up to it you can take on the Gavia climb of 1,363 metres, or the 13 km of Mostizzolo with inclines of up to 18%.

Family Bike parks
In Val di Sole, young enthusiasts of mountain biking will find lots of opportunities for fun in total safety, from their very first rides on wooden paths to their first simple trails on dirt tracks.
- Kids Bike Park Folgarida; the closest bike park to Hotel Caminetto, easily reached with the Folgarida cable car, full of twists and turns to enjoy to the full.
- Kids Bike Park Marilleva; a high-altitude trail through fantastic landscapes and served with a convenient travellator.
- Kids Bike Park Pellizzano; 2 routes with travellators and pump track for a fun break during a ride along a cycle path.
After a day with the family in one of the Val di Sole bike parks, the children won’t want to get of their bikes!
